Artist Frank Gross

Frank Gross, 82, is known by his vivid portrayal of the area in his oil paintings. Given life in his paintings are historic scenes of the area and region. You can travel down Main Street, see familiar land marks, relive the fire at the Worumbo Mill fire, or travel back to the days of the horse draw carriage and the events of the Civil War, and much more through his art.

Many of his paintings can be seen at the MTM Center while others have found homes in local businesses and the Town Hall. Frank is a self-taught artist who paints topics that he is interested in. If you look carefully you can find him appearing along with community friends in is paintings.

The MTM Center on School Street, Lisbon Falls, has one of the largest collections in place of his paintings. He often changes the paintings so that you have a fresh visit to his favorite places when you visit.
